Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa Yoga (also known as Flow) is a style of yoga in which postures are sequenced together to form seamless movement from one pose to the next. Breath is linked to each movement, creating both an awareness and control of breath. Vinyasa classes offer a variety of postures and sequences, and no two classes are alike.

Vinyasa Yoga classes combine standing postures, sun salutations, and floor postures for an energizing, cardiovascular, full-body workout. Like Vinyasa, Power Flow combines breath control with postures that are designed to strengthen the body, develop flexibility and improve stamina. Students note improved core and upper body strength as well as toning.

Yin Yoga - Slow yoga

Yin Yoga classes consist of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body — the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, and lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues. The poses are held for up to five minutes (and sometimes longer) to receive the greatest benefits.

Energetically, Yin Yoga improves the energy flow to the whole body, including muscle tissue, glands, and organs. Yin yoga also offers wonderful emotional and mental health benefits: increasing circulation and flexibility, reducing stress and anxiety, encouraging fascia release, improving joint mobility, and bringing balance to the organs through meridian stimulation. This practice is often thought to be more of a mental challenge than a physical challenge.

Buti Yoga

Buti Yoga is a dynamic practice of Vinyasa and Hatha yoga sequences with added movement and cardio-intensive bursts of tribal dance and primal movement.

Prepare to lose your inhibitions and have a crazy amount of fun! Buti Yoga utilizes the Spiral Structure Technique to sculpt and tone the deep abdominal muscles that stabilize and strengthen the body. Instead of linear movements, the spiral structure technique and other Buti yoga movements challenge the body along all planes of motion.
